First Impression
One spray of Reaction for Men and it’s melon, apple, and citrus slapping you in the face like a fruit smoothie in a locker room. It’s bright, fresh, and screams early 2000s.
The Smell
Starts with melon and green apple, then a squeeze of lime. It’s refreshing but feels synthetic, like body spray in a fancier bottle. The middle softens with watery florals and greenery, before fading into a quiet musk and sandalwood base. The ride is simple, linear, and very much background scent territory.
Notes:
-
Top: melon, green apple, lime
-
Heart: watery florals, green notes
-
Base: sandalwood, musk
Performance
You’ll get 3 to 5 hours on skin and a bit longer on clothes. Projection is light, almost skin-close. Safe for daytime errands, casual hangouts, or the gym. It won’t offend anyone, but don’t expect compliments either.
Verdict
Pros: Fresh, easy to wear, perfect for summer.
Cons: Synthetic, short-lived, forgettable.
Kenneth Cole Reaction is fine if you want cheap freshness. But it’s dated, a little flat, and nowhere near signature scent material.
Rating
5 out of 10. Fresh and harmless but boring.
