First Spray
The opening is soft and clean with violet and citrus but it feels a little flat right away It smells pleasant but not exciting almost like spraying a hair mist instead of a perfume

What You Smell Like
• A mix of violet and camellia with a touch of citrus at the start
• A creamy vanilla and woody heart that is calming but faint
• The base is warm musk amber and sandalwood but it never really pushes through strongly
It smells comforting and familiar but it does not have much depth It is basically the scent of the famous Moroccanoil hair oil bottled as perfume
Where It Works
This is best as a casual scent when you want to smell clean and soft but not noticeable It is safe for work and daily wear because it is subtle almost too subtle It fits spring and summer but gets lost in colder weather
The Verdict
Moroccanoil L’Originale is nice but it plays it too safe It is cozy and pleasant if you love the hair oil scent but as a perfume it struggles The projection is weak the longevity is short and it feels more like body mist quality than a full fragrance Still it has a soft charm if you want something personal and low key
Score 6.5 / 10
